How Do I Ensure Designs Work for Users?
How Do I Ensure Designs Work for Users?
In my recent projects, I focused on testing my designs to see how well they work for users. In few projects, I used task-based testing to assess the user flow and ensure users can achieve their goals effectively. Additionally, I did comprehensive testing to evaluate visual elements, ensuring users can intuitively understand the UI. Depending on the context and my specific objectives, I also did A/B testing to compare design variations and gather insights.

What did I learn from Usability Testing in the Shop the Look project?
What did I learn from Usability Testing in the Shop the Look project?
Users struggled to understand certain UI elements and differentiate between them. By observing how users interacted with the UI and identifying moments of confusion, I was able to pinpoint problematic areas. To gain deeper insights, I asked users to elaborate on why they found certain elements confusing. This feedback helped me make more informed design improvements, creating a more intuitive experience.

How did iterative testing improve the VirtuFit project?
How did iterative testing improve the VirtuFit project?
I kicked off testing with digital wireframes to get early feedback. I focused on testing the basic concepts and user flows. By sharing one screen at a time and asking users what they saw and expected, I made the testing process more insightful.

With the feedback from the wireframes, I moved on to creating a high-fidelity prototype. This time, I tested the visual design and also how users felt about the overall experience.

In the usability testing, users expressed confusion about the outfit-building process. They also struggled with understanding certain elements. I took this feedback, prioritized it, and started making changes.
